Wow man that's some serious gold ball size hail there, everyone OK, any major damage? I know my job has been thinking of sending me down to Joplin to help with the recovery at our store down there. Not sure if It'll happen, but I told them I was willing and able to!
If you want to watch a video that will absolutely send shivers down your spine of that tornado, watch this:
The video is dark due to the power being out. It was shot on someone cell phone in a grocery store. At about 2:00 (on the video) the tornado begins to hit, but nothing big till 15 seconds later when all hell breaks loose. (there is a VERY religious person in the background). Things quite down and everyone says "we're good", "you're ok" etc... till about 3:05 when the finger of God comes down on this store and rips it damn near COMPLETLY apart. The screams are enough to make you want to cry for them. Let us hope that they will not find any more bodies, as the toll is over 119 as of this afternoon.
My store down there (Toys R Us) has accounted for all employees but 3 so far, and we are very blessed that the store had minor damage.

I tell ya we had the craziest weather around here. My cousin had his wedding outdoors this past weekend. We had best weather for it, sunny about 80 degrees. Afterwords all of us in the wedding party jumped on the party bus, and slowly made our way back to corning. (Took us about 45 min to drive 15 miles). Well, i guess corning had caught the edge of the storm, and received the same rain/hail treatment that Mitch had posted up. It's crazy how just 15 miles away it didnt even sprinkle on us. Needless to say my cousin was LUCKY!! haha.

WOW! I don't often get weak watching any video's, but WOW! thank God they were okay and the children were safe. Considering what they went thru I thaought they stayed really calm and collected, the helps to think clearly.
