So, like the title stats..it has just been a bad day. Lol. I'm getting ready to head out on a dune trip with a few of my buddies and we're leaving friday. So I'm tryin to get everything nice and buttoned up on my Raptor. I'm also installing my new(used) g-force extended axle. I got a great deal on it, but to install it I had to buy a new c-clip to hold on the axle nut. That was fine by me..just $1.50. Welp, I changed the bearings out yesterday in the carrier, and installed the axle today. Got it all buttoned up, and put on the hubs. Turns out, the gooffy guy that sold me the axle didn't happen to tell me that the hub nuts(castle nuts) are bigger on these G-force axles and my stock nuts wouldnt work(or the bastard could have just sent me the hub nuts that go with the axle) . Anywho..now I have this nice axle sitting on my quad..with no way to put on the hubs. So, I had to order new castle nuts, payed $15 in shipping, and they MIGHT get here on thursday.....great. ..Needless to say, Im a little upset that I had to buy a few extra parts for this axle when they should have been on it in the first place.....sorry for the long ass story..but Im a little pissed..haha. Anybody else had some days like mine?

I have run into that before. If I want to run Honda bolt pattern rear wheels (anything 9'') I need to run Honda or Yamaha rear hubs. Well the stock castlenut was too tall to get the cotterpin in the hole, so I went to the hardware store and got nylock locknuts, tightened them up and put a cotterpin in just for good measure. Ace Hardware in No. Topeka had the nylock locknuts in stock.
