So I thought I would ask it here, the other site I would ask is full of over analytical people.
I got my new FCR39 to put on, and they can be tricky to get the jetting dialed in. Should I wait for warmer weather. Some would say the cold air would mess with the jetting. whats the opinion

Cold air is dense air. Internal combustion motors LOVE cold air. That said, if you set it now, and the carb is that fickle, I bet it could run lean. BUT, the air now isn't THAT cold. Put that thing on so you'll shut up about it.

Im thinking im gonna hold off on the build for now. At most I will probably have the head done, its almost 10yrs old and stock equipment. The carbs are picky, most of it is people who have no buisness in a carb to begin with, or dont understand them. The big thing on these is the AP. 2 ways to deal with it one is adjust it properly, or tie it off to the linkage "The Ziptie Mod". From what I have researched it is a common fix in the MX world. youtu.be/HkRS9G-7yHc
