I lived in San Jose, and we would drive an hour to Carnegie or Hollister on any given weekend. Hollister was a mad-house if you didn't get there on a Thursday morning. Anyhow, thought I'd post some videos that I'd found on YouTube to give you an idea how these parks were. Very similar to your local riding places around Kansas..........................LOL. Carnegie has some scary-*ss hills if you have a big set! They have hill climb competitions for professional climbers. We didn't venture into any of that, but we rode some hills that will make your bottom pucker when you go up or down! www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-5a2kaXwU0&feature=relatedHollister was a dusty mofo in the summer! They have green and red stickers for 2 strokes machines, and in the summer, one of those stickers weren't allowed to ride in the parks. Something to do with the exhaust pollution, I think. Cool place to camp, but it fills up every damn weekend! www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIbJWUHa1pE&feature=relatedThese were the places that I learned how to ride my first trike(s). I was very cautious, took my time getting used to the machine and hair-raising trails. Most trails were marked for novice, intermediate, and expert riders. Some places were even directional, meaning you only went one direction rather than running head on to other riders. I really miss having places like this to ride
