Split the brakes for him have the left go to the rear brake and the right off a pred or outlaw or honda, to the front only.. it will kinda get him used to clutching and it is easier to pull the brake handle then too. much better brakes at least it was on my scrambler..

he already knows how to use clutch, sold his CR80 to get this, and he rides my raptor often. i probably would find a solution like that, but the kid is growing like a weed, so who's knows how long we will keep this, before we need something faster

Sure miss the old scrambler.. It was so much easier to putt around on when I wanted too.. Down to one quad the Outlaw.. Sure need to ride it more.. Mitch I have only had one issue Stripped out the oil drain plug like the second time I changed the oil.. seems to be an issue on most of them.. Other than that nothing has had to be replaced since 09 except oil filters and brakes.. They are tough I think. Not any heavier than most shifter quads.. like 365 dry the yamaha and honda 450s weigh in at 350 so not too heavy. and they jump as well as any we found out going over terraces a couple weekends ago.. I was getting as much height and landing as well as the lighter guys.. I love mine the bottom end torque is excellent.. Mine is an SRA.
