has anybody ever replaced/changed the trans fluid in a trailblazer of scrambler 2wd ?? here's the problem: there is NOT a drain plug apparently.. there is a "trans torque adjustment screw" where a drain plug shoud be. i searched the polaris forums quickly, no luck. so then i took it to the dealer, and the tech was clueless, so i took it a small shop, and they were clueless too.. am i suppose to suction the old fluid out thru the dipstick hole, or tip the machine on its side? either way, im frustrated

It looks like you need a fluid pump to change the tranny oil. Heres a link that I found,,, www.ehow.com/how_7766180_change-polaris-250-trail-blazer.html I also checked on a forum, and they said this works, but only to add 13 oz of tranny fluid instead of 15 oz. Hope this helps you out if you havent already got it done!

thanks for the info... but i finally got it figured out, the "trans torque adjustment" screw also serve's as the drain plug... would have been awseome of polaris had mentioned that !!!! but all of that is the least of my concerns now, might need a top end after yesterday .... at least its not seized

yes it will be a good winter project. gonna delete oil injection, get some good suspension, rebuild top end to the max, etc....
that bike is/was fast already, such a sleeper !! everyone underestimates it
