Well as most of you know, while I was swapping out intakes on my raptor a few months back. I found sand in the throttle body, and instead of selling my bike I said what the hell, lets just totally rebuild it. So, since then I have been tearing everything down and sending parts out left and right. Well, its good to say that I think I'm on the downhill side of things. My frame will be back from powdercoat tomorrow and my engine should be finished up in a few weeks. But for now, here is a little bolt-on eye candy for you guys, its my new dual exhaust....and it looks sick, this picture doesnt do them any justice! When I get the frame and other PC'd parts back I will share pictures of them too and that will probably be it until she gets wrapped up. Hope you all enjoy. Also, all the new mods that are being done to my quad are in my sig. I put them there a few weeks ago to see if anyone would notice, guess no one did..haha ;D

A friend of mine is doing the bottom end, it would be done by now but the new crank got dropped during shipping. So that was a set back. No, I didnt powder any of my cases. I do like the look of powder coated cases, I just think they would get scratched to easy and look like crap.

Just got home with the frame, and I think it looks awesome. Its an orange PC with a grey undercoating(supposed to make it shine). All the work was done by MTS out of Manhattan. It was getting late when I took the pics so there wasnt much sun shining on it.

2smoke, I bought the pipes through tqsatv.com. Or you could buy them directly from monster...and no, its not the same monster as the energy drink. lol.

Looks good! Did you powder other components as well? What did this end up costing, for blasting and powder? I've got 4 different machines that are powdered, and you should have looked into powdering your cases. Powder is hard as a rock, I'm not sure who told you it would scratch too easily. I've hit mine with wrenches and hammers, it don't chip! In fact, if you ever want to remove it, they have to burn it off. Just got home with the frame, and I think it looks awesome. Finally....this weekend I should be getting my motor back. I cant wait!! I have just about everything I need to finish up, so this build will be #1 on my list to get done...thankfully the heat should be breaking for a bit, so it will make it easier to get in the shop and work.
If all pans out, I will have some pics up of a mounted motor by the end of the weekend so stayed tuned fellas!!!

Well fellas, Ive got some bad news...I was finally able to start my raptor lastnight. Sadly, from the sounds of things, something is jammed up either in the clutch or the tranny. Either way, it looks like Im going to have to pull the motor and have the cases split again. I knew that I was going to have to work out some bugs but dang, this just plain sucks..haha. Oh well, its only a minor set-back for whats to come. Hopefully I can be up and running within a few weeks.

Welp, pulled the motor tonight. Its all ready to go to get some work done...I seriously hope this doesn't take long(I havent riddin a quad in 3 1/2 months)...but more importantly, I hope when it's fixed that I have nothing more to worry about in the motor department. I really cant afford to have to do this all over again. Anyways, I took a quick pic of it before i pulled to motor..still no plastics and a tad dirty from the trailer ride down rock roads, but its still looking good IMO.

Sorry I havent been keeping you all updated with my build, this motor issue really bummed me out to the point where I started lossing interest. But finally after another 2 months of waiting, it looks like my motor will be coming home within the next 2 weeks.
The problem: An output shaft near the transmission striped out my case..not cool. So, the case was taken to a machine shop for some modification to the case and the shaft. So far I have missed out on a few different dune trips including the Raptor Ralley which is my favorite. During this time I have thought about selling out and focusing on some other hobbies that arent near as expensive, but there is something about these damn quads that I just love, and I know I would kick my self for selling out. So, hopefully here in couple weeks I can be up and riding again (fingers crossed)!

I am looking for a CW Botanicals Review as I am considerably interested to take up several new CBD products on my online CBD store(https://cbdoileco.com). I managed to find a few great reviews on hempresa.com but it is not quite what I am looking for. If anybody is interested in partnering up with me on launching a brand new CBD on-line company in the UK, please let me know. Thanks
